I hope you will investigate coming to La Jolla Yoga Center in La Jolla, California. Check out the 6000 sq. ft. facility online. I teach a Silver Age Yoga class there and my daughter Kristin and I attended your August 2010 workshop in Esalen this year. I spoke with your co-presenter about you all visiting our LJYC for a workshop. I will speak with the owner, Jeanie Carlstead if you are interested. Carolyn Boline

Thanks for writing the article about less work I'm trying out a new performance piece this Wednesday at University of Maryland that asks this very question; "just what are working for?" In the piece, I walk with great intention back and forth within a larger circle, occasionally people join me and I briefly connect, but in the end I collapse exhausted and die alone... All to different versions of the chorus and hook to Walk This Way... How society urges us to walk certain ways in this world and how it is our job to keep questioning and make choices when we can. May all of our walking be done consciously, not to exhaustion, with happiness and a song. Peace, Dawn

Dear Rick,
6/26/2010 the day of the Lunar Eclipse so much has been shared on this great day of transformation.I found your site thru Open Center I was reading about your philosophies, then I came upon your blog and read your last entry, most inspiring and where better to be in a place that has gone thru such pain to become a place of peace and light. Our Mother is in her birthing stage with great pain but will become of this will be a new Earth and a new Hu-man.
God Bless you for your intelligence,
Marie

Rick, thanks for this post. All too often, I digest my day at the end of the day - so I appreciate the reminder to digest throughout the day. I am glad to be noticing my gratitude and appreciation more often throughout the day - while stepping outside in the day or at night. Mara, thank you for the poem, "Leisure". I'm going to share it.
